See the Board-Approved Exterior Paint Options

The exterior colors on townhomes must be a color that has been approved by the Board. The Sherwin-Williams paint store, which is located at the corner of Belair Road and Silver Spring Road, is familiar with these colors. Please ask a store associate for the Cedarside Farm color chart to view the approved colors.

Below, you'll find the guidelines that assist homeowners in their exterior painting projects. We've included a list of approved paint colors along with their corresponding code numbers. These requirements will ensure that our neighborhood retains its character and harmony while still allowing for some flexibility.

• An Architectural Improvement Form must be submitted and approved prior to painting.
• You do not have to buy paint from Sherwin-Williams, but you must have the color computer matched. Home Depot and Lowes are able to do this.
• The entry doors must be the same color as the shutters where applicable.
• You may change the color of your home, but it must be approved by the Architectural Committee. The Architectural Committee will not approve the same color as the house next door.

If a homeowner paints the exterior of their home with a color that is not approved, the homeowner will be notified by the Board that they are out of compliance and that they must repaint their home using an approved color. This will be done at the homeowner's expense.

If you have any questions, please contact Cedarside Farm HOA, Inc. before you paint, and we will address your concerns. The Architectural Committee will conduct periodic "walkthrough inspections" this summer to ensure all are in compliance.
